Wet processing-alternative to drycleaning
Professional
wet processing uses a little water, biodegradable soap and
conditioners to gently remove dirt from your
clothes. It even works well for most delicates such as wool,
silk, cashmere, and evening wear. Also, wet processing is
ideal for items you use daily and close to the skin such as
bedding, pillows,
blankets and sleeping bags.
We are happy to promote this cleaning technique that is kinder

Professional drycleaning
At the Albany facility we process garments 6 days a week. We have
30+ years experience and can provide any advice you need about cleaning
your clothes, draperies, bedding and other fabric items.
Expert Alterations by Lisa
Do your want your clothes to really fit? Lisa has the
increasingly rare talent to make your clothes fit correctly. Bring
us your clothes if you need the sleeves shortened, shoulder pads removed,
the waist taken in or out and we will return them to you in a week, ready
to wear.
Wedding gowns
Are you worried about permanent stains, yellowing or storing
your wedding gown? We handle delicate fabrics. And know how
to remove any stains, perspiration, and soil from your gown.
After cleaning and inspection, your gown (veil, slips, and/or shoes)
is ready to be preserved. You’ll receive your gown carefully
wrapped in acid-free tissue and packaged in a museum quality box with
a viewing window. Oxygen is removed from the box to prevent
aging and deterioration.
This service is also available for other special garments
such as christening gowns, school team jackets, sports & military
uniforms. And we can ship anywhere in the World for

Down pillow renovation
Do you want those old tired, sweaty pillows to look like new? Your
pillows can be clean, sanitized and deodorized and given a new ticking
(cover). You can even have more feathers added or transform two
pillows into one plump one. Same day service is available so you
won't be without your favorite pillows!
Area rug cleaning
Do you have delicate wools, Persian, oriental or other area rugs that need
cleaning? We use our “wet process,” the non-toxic water-based
cleaning process that we describe above to clean rugs. You can also
request that the fringe be whitened or replaced. Other services
include scotch guarding, repairing binding and pick up & delivery.
